"As I am not accustomed to eating jacket potatoes, I asked the lady at the stand for advice and suggestions. So I had butter, cheese and their beef and onion gravy on my potato, and it turned great. I highly recommend ! (Better to let the cheese melt and the potato & gravy cool down for about 30' before eating)"

"Brilliant jacket potato and to say I only like red Leicester cheese they always sort it me out when I bring the cheese and tubs they put it in my tubs and put my cheese on. I'm so going to miss the original people but I do hope they enjoy the retirement. So glad the business of dinner jackets is still up and running as no other jacket potato van will beat dinner jackets potato van are the best"

"'Dinner Jackets' potato stand. Very generous servings that fill the box and are always served piping hot, unlike a couple other places I've been to. They always offer butter free of charge, and they do not skimp. All the staff are lovely which is a bonus. Even as prices have inevitably gone up over the years, it remains excellent value, better than any lunch meal deal I've come across. I recommend beans + cheese + sweetcorn, or cottage cheese + tuna mayo + sweetcorn. With butter."

"Excellent value for money with generous portions of 3 fillings for £4.50 on a large jacket potato. It’s all wrapped well to takeaway and service is very friendly. It is cash only but this shouldn’t be an issue with cash points roughly opposite."
